United Facility Supply has operated as a separate division of United Stationers Supply Co. for some time, developed specifically to service the needs of customers such as you. However, in order to continue offering your company the highest level of capabilities, now and into the future, we’re making an organizational change.

Effective October 31, 2001, United Facility Supply will no longer be servicing the Jan/San, Paper, Packaging, Safety and Industrial channels, including your account. Over the next six weeks all UFS customers will be transitioned over to United Stationers Supply Co. As a result of this change, we will be able to offer a sales and customer service process that is more closely tied to the Regional Distribution Centers in your area, while at the same time offering exposure to additional single sourcing business products techniques available through United.

UFS will make every effort to assure that this is a smooth and seamless transition. In the very near future, you’ll receive additional correspondence from us including detailed information and instructions on the transition of your account to United Stationers: contacts & phone numbers, 2002 catalog and flyer order status, and other information.

We’re confident that as you expand your single sourcing and integrated supply efforts to service the needs of your customers, you’ll continue to turn to United Stationers as your wholesale business partner.
