City of Hope

City of Hope and the 2008 “Cause for Hope” Campaign

Located just northeast of Los Angeles in Duarte, CA, City of Hope is an innovative biomedical research, treatment, and education institution dedicated to the prevention, treatment and cure of cancer and other life-threatening illness. City of Hope has been named one of America’s best hospitals for treating cancer by U.S. News and World Report. It is also consistently ranked as one of the top charities in the medical field with 84 cents of every dollar raised going directly to the charity.

Since 1983, the office products industry has embraced the City of Hope National Medical Center and Beckman Research Institute as its leading charitable cause. Over the years, millions of dollars have been raised through the annual “Spirit of Life” Award campaign, making our industry the City of Hope’s largest support group. Year after year, members of the office products industry have helped City of Hope as it seeks to find cures for diseases such as cancer, HIV/AIDS and diabetes.
